A Landmark Addition to the Nashville SkylineD&S Builders is proud to announce the completion of the SongTeller Hotel, a 12-story luxury property in the heart of downtown Nashville. Developed in partnership with Dolly Parton and Herschend Family Entertainment, this "love letter to Music City" required intensive urban construction management and high-specification interior finishes to capture the signature aesthetic of a global icon.

Urban Engineering & High-End InteriorsConstructing a 245-room vertical tower at 211 Commerce Street presented unique logistical challenges, from tight site footprints to complex structural requirements. D&S Builders oversaw the installation of bespoke architectural details, including:

• Signature Finishes: Guitar-etched marble flooring and custom butterfly chandeliers throughout the public spaces.
• The 3rd Floor Museum: The construction of the 20,000-square-foot Life of Many Colors Museum, a world-class exhibition space requiring specialized climate control, lighting, and structural reinforcement to house a full-scale tour bus reproduction.
• Vertical Hospitality: Two distinct entertainment levels, including the Parton’s Live cabaret on the second floor and Jolene’s, a sophisticated 11th-floor lounge offering panoramic views of the Nashville skyline.

Crafting an Immersive ExperienceThe project demanded a level of "Pinpoint Execution" that goes beyond standard hospitality. Every room and suite was built to support an immersive storytelling experience, featuring high-end soundproofing for "The Listening Lobby" and creative writing spaces within guest units. From the Cup of Ambition all-day café to the intricate "9 to 5" lobby mechanicals, D&S Builders delivered a facility that is as much a cultural landmark as it is a luxury hotel.
